Forever and Always

You said you would stay forever,

I guess forever meant something different to you.

You said you would never leave,

But look at where we are now.

We were planning a wedding,

Talking bout kids.

Wanted a house in the forest 

Or a place on the beach.

You said you would love me always,

I guess always wasn’t as long as I thought.

You left me crying and screaming in the dust,

You never looked back or even said you were sorry.

I cried for hours and hours in the dark, 

You didn’t even seem upset.

Now I don’t even know where you are,

And I’m missing you in my heart.

But I don’t even know who you are,

I guess now you’re just a liar.
