Mutt

transprodigalson

I am kind in all the rough spots.

I had the urge to bite beat from me.

What do you call a dog who acts in shame?

You call the disgraceful thing by your forgotten name.

No bark, no bite, no will to fight.

What kind of dog are you?

No claws, no teeth, no nothing to hit.

What type of dog do you fit?

You’re the dog left on the street.

A mangled thing who kills to eat.

Kill the angels offering redemption.

For they may lead you into temptation.

Kill the demons leading you astray.

They’ll keep fresh for a couple days.

Tell me mother, have I sinned?

Forgive me father for bringing you hell.

I am your mutt with nothing to bare.

A tortured thing who doesn’t deserve your care.
