A Dream

marco

Out of a dream

we awake

out of awakening we begin to dream.

Between machines

and our bones, what are the differences?

Machines can dream

and awake

and dream again

right?

What is a dream?

What is, “To be real?”

What is, “To be real and then have a dream?”

Is the universe emptiness?

Is the universe God?

Is God, emptiness?

Is God dreaming?

Is the universe a dream?

Are we just figments of God’s imagination?

You to touch me,

you hurt me,

you love me,

you honor me,

you betray me,

you trust me,

you deceive me,

you speak to me,

you offend me,

you forgive me.

And you pass through me

as if I were a mirror

your eyes

glow

ingrained in my eyes

and soon my eyes vanish

and only hollow holes

remain

the dreaming awakes

and then we dream again.
