Back before I was born
there was no idea of me,
but all of society knew too well
that me or some body like me,
would be taking a seat in first grade,
projected to be here breathing this atmosphere
and getting taught how rare and beautiful this
sphere, in the middle of "not nowhere"
which is almost exactly like every place else
in the universe,
before I was born my atoms were scattered
all over the globe,
buttercups, worms, and dinosaur poop,
wherever water flowed,
while I am I will take advantage of the gift of life,
I will sing freely yippies morning, noon and night
as long as there is peace within my species,
leave me be, being is enough
if done not under a rock
or under someone's thumb.
