What Women Want

Neville

What Women Want

I have yet to meet a woman

who is not afraid

of what I may, or may not

write about them ..

But still, they do each want

the self-same things ..

In effect, to have and then

to own their

very own poems ..

And then, for each poem to

reference their beauty

and extol virtues that I may,

or may not

even be entirely aware of ..

It therefore,

seems to me that most of

the women

I have met to date have a

preference for

liars and above every single

thing else,

extraordinarily deviant poetry ..

Sounds like fishing in murky waters..

I'm no longer into fishing .. but I am still very much interested in what folk think about the content, quality and other aspects of what I post here. Thanks.

Wow! If word gets out about this poem, you may become a lonely man. Regardless of the truth you speak. My take is that deviant poetry is rather common. Most poets leap across boundaries with relish. ( Add a little mustard and you've got a wiener ) Deviant comment.
As regards your poem, it speaks a truth and Wows with the last line. Enjoyed. - Phil A.

I dunno what they want. And I'm unlikely to find out, being married to KP. lol.

Such a shame and on so many counts ..

        • Doggerel Dave

Much poetry here Irrespective of gender is, in my not very humble opinion, deviant inasmuch as it avoids reality in all manner of ways. What after all is a metaphor other than an attempt to avoid, or make pretty, stark reality?
          So take that, Sir!!!!!!!!!

I'm quite sure I agree with you and appreciate the visit Dave .. Cheers .. Neville
