ENTIRE COSMOS

Qurrathul Ain

He could grow flowers in her roots,

She could give everything for him,

He could star her night sky,

She could color his cloudy life,

He could answer every query of her heart,

She could have united,

His beating heart with hers,

They both could have balm-ed,

Each other's wounds.

But the entire cosmos conspired,

Against his and her union.

But they were the most suitable pieces together.

    But then again, can we?

    • Qurrathul Ain

I don't think we can. Because then, it will be a war for our own destruction. Nothing comes out of it. Just accept as it is, that's all.

True, but when talking good and evil, evil destroys itself.
Just a different angle, but I agree with you.

I understand. Thank you for sharing!

Let's not blame the Cosmos , which would be unaware, and owes them nothing. Aware - yes. Accept, I agree.

            • Qurrathul Ain

By cosmos, I mean the people and the circumstances that prove to be a barrier.
              Thank you for stopping by!

Sad when on a poetry site you are forced to define your terms when poets take liberties with truth and reality all the time.
I'd have preferred ''humanity'', but there you go - here perhaps it is all a matter of personal taste.......

                • Qurrathul Ain

I understand that a poem can be read and understood in several ways. Even if the terms are defined, we need not abide by them. Everyone may have their own style of interpretation. I respect and am ready to know them. Like you said, it's all about personal taste.

                    Right then. Take care.🙂
