Almost There

       Jim and Holden took turns driving all night. Once they made it up North; they found a room to sleep tight. Jim passed out as soon as his head hit the bed. Holden couldn’t sleep. He got to thinking about all Jim said. He has no idea why he’s making such a big deal about this girl. What is it about her that’s changed his world? It was just one time he had met her. But ever since then he just can’t forget her. Maybe it was how she showed deep concern for his parents? Given she’s in the same situation, this makes sense. Warm and inviting her smile was. Very attentive and quite attractive! No wonder he can’t let go of her! Her chocolate was simply delicious. He knows Jim is no liar; he’s no longer suspicious. Thankful really for someone like Jim; keeping his head on straight; he’s always been there for him. Sun is rising! Only two hours to go; find out just where Holden is moving to tomorrow!
