I will surely get back to you when I come online.
Just yesterday
He was alive and kicking
Without a knock of headache
A young promising lad.
Today, a different narrative
A shocking news visited FUWUKARI
Raining shock and fear
On skirts and trousers.
Beastly marauders,
Have visited the university environs
To reck havocs on roofs and legs
With threatening weapons.
These eaters of the living
Are beastly humans,
They have no regards for blood
Descendants of Cain.
At night,
Around Fuw second gate
They stabbed Mark-Hopkins Sagarga
For a material gain;
Why not take his phone and let his life?
Students must borrow a leaf
From the death of Mark
To always walk in groups
Devil lives in skirts and trousers.
Vengeance a constant formula
The law of nature must take it cause
The culprits will rejoice in tears,
For causing a family sweet pain;
For there will be a burial feast.

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem is an ELEGY. It reflects the death of a student at Federal University Wukari, Nigeria. He was killed by some marauders who came for his phone, and in order to take the phone from him they dastardly stabbed him to death. Fortunately enough the culprits were later caught, arrested and handed to the authorities. May the soul of the Mark-Hopkins Sagarga who lost his life in pursuit of his dreams, rest in peace. Amen.

Murder for a phone..
God help us if society became destitute and starving.
Our society is decaying by the day.
May God help us to number our days.
