At Long Last

       Had it not been for all the road work, Holden and Jim would have arrived on time. Plus; Jim took some scenic routes and Holden didn’t seem to mind. What should’ve been about four hours and three hundred miles; turned into Jim and Holden arriving in style!! Weston Vermont! The beauty says it all! Holden can’t wait to see this place in the fall! Known for its peace, beauty and much more! It even has a family business; The Vermont Country Store! Vermont is well known for its delicious maple syrup; to which Holden is a huge fan of! But then it also has Harlow and her home made chocolate; he could easily fall in love! Jim has lived here his entire life. Vermont is full of hard working citizens and communities helping each other; no matter the sacrifice. Holden was drawn to this place from the start. The quick life of the city was too much; and many times were hard. He’s got much unpacking to do today; “don’t forget;” Jim says; “we’re meeting the girls at Harlow’s place.” “Charity says Harlow is going to show you around.” “Help you get use to living in a small town.” Holden is nervous as can be; want more?
