Broken dark road

Natalie Heisey

On a broken dark road, shadows have consume,I end up walking alone, lost in the night .Every step echoes, a haunting sound apperears ,The night is cold, no solace found here.

Through the pain and the sorrow, I wander blind, In this endless night, peace I cannot find. On this broken dark road, hope fades away, But I'll keep moving, through the night, I'll stay.

The wind it howls, whispers of despair,
Ghosts of the past, linger in the air. But I keep moving, through the fear, For in the distance, a faint light appears.

Through the pain and the sorrow, I wander completely blind, in this endless night, peace I cannot find. On this broken dark road, hope fades away, But I'll keep moving, through the night, I'll stay

Every crack in the pavement, a scar on my soul, Battles fought, stories untold.
But through the cracks, shadows grow,
On this broken dark road, darkness flows.

Through the pain and the sorrow, I wander blind,In this endless night, peace I cannot find.On this broken dark road, hope fades away, But I'll keep moving, through the night, I'll stay.

So I’ll keep walking, through the night,
On this broken dark road, no end in sight.
Through every trial, I’ll fight alone, For this journey’s mine, and mine alone.
