Harlow and Holden

        Just another half hour and a mystery man will be here with Jim. Harlow’s not sure about this; but Jim? She can trust him. He’s always had a way of looking out for her. He’s well aware Harlow is ok; but he can’t stand it if she’s hurt. The thing about Jim is; if you’re in his life he’s got your back. Just don’t lie, cheat, or disrespect him; he asks for nothing more than that. He’s been burned a time or two before. So if you break his trust once; you’re out the door. Harlow is Charity’s dearest friend. So to Jim Harlow also gets his protection. Harlow did date. But that was many years ago. Once she started caring for parents; he let her go. He felt like she’s was putting him to side. Harlow work long days at the store and cared for her parents at night. Harlow was bitter at first but Jim helped her through it. Come to think of it Jim’s always been there to help her through the tough hits. Harlow thinks back to the gentleman she met; how confident and sweet. He loved her candy! Her homemade treat! “The guys are here!” Charity says with excitement; Harlow is so nervous she can’t even hide it. Jim walks in and Harlow can’t believe her eyes; the guy she was just thinking of walks in much to her surprise! Jim introduces Harlow to his “City Boy” friend; “nice to see you once again Holden!” “The pleasure’s all mine!” Holden says with a smile;  “you better have a jacket; she says; we’ll be gone a while.” Harlow and Holden are reunited at last! Will they fall in love? Or has too much time passed?
