Chains, chains, and more chains
I shall devour my nights alone
Behold the glass pearl beneath the desk
I cannot reach what is impossible to me
As I shed many tears of starvation
I hear birds I cannot hear
Sweet memories sweep the walls I cannot see
And what seems to be all over the place
Seems to be free from judgment
Why can't I tear myself down
To be unbound?
No one sees the pain that I am living in
If my heart is free, then I shall be me
Pretty houses come and go
But to be unbound is a sacred wish
Is it hard for you to understand
The frequencies of my being?
For I would never hold you accountable
For the many things I desire
Yet I desire to be unbound
In an unbound world
For these chains are liberal upon my defense
And somehow I am unbound in my mind
The death of humanity
Has broken my spirit,
Let the spirit speak for itself in rhymes
And this is my royal prayer
To the royal skies above
For God sees me in a pretty dress
I cannot wear,
Yet I wear this pretty dress
In his heart
And behold the glass pearl beneath the desk
Such revolutionary thoughts cross my mind
I want to fly above the chaos
I want to fly above
The traumas of my youth, unbound.
