I wish my Fears would Migrate

Thomas W Case

Fear is like
the shadow of a bat,
larger than life.
I taste the
rabid nightmares;
they poison my soul.
Anger masks the fear.
I hear the harpies scream
in my febrile brain
and my faith is
small as a
grain of sand
growing slowly
over time.

    Great write, Tom. A friend said to me this thing we call our identity is nothing but a bunch of fears. What if he's right?!

    There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear:

      That is true. I've said it myself. I see you read your bible. Thanks for commenting.
