No Flesh My Iron Lung

aDarkerMind

no flesh my iron lung

repossessed through foolish remedies

one single cut

a flowing tide of vengance through a skull

shoplifters eyes

picking through the bowels submissive red.

the rubber-room

as dead as he is bored

the welcome mat

wagging tongues

new breed of fish

what else are we to be?

the running mock

pays heavy on the toll

one roll of rock

my plastic is your primrose

my seed no lesser soul.

too many sad goodbyes.

firewood my master's siamese.

twinned by fires light

the bitter knave

canned heat a better place

than you know where.

tread heavy on the soil

this earth asleep

it is one roll of rock

one devil's weed.

somewhere among the reeds

where pigeons die.

A soulmate on the other side of where we be is all I see. This is one that makes my heart heavy, so very very beautiful. 🌹

      Captivating stanzas Melvin.

      Drawn to the lines

      my plastic is your primrose
      my seed no lesser soul
      too many sad goodbyes

The lines are heavy and the imagery most
unusual. The mood is melancholic. Thank you for sharing.
