Awkward (and queer)

Weep little lion girl

I am not here

I am not here

I am not real

I am a symbol, art,

Something to be analysed

I long to glow, to be ethereal

Though I know what I am,

An earth worm or worse,

A teenager

Awkward and queer

Uncomfortable and insecure

Unsure of who or what I am or want to be
