MIDNIGHT DARKNESS

Qurrathul Ain

Notice of absence from Qurrathul Ain
I'm taking a break for a while, for no specific reason. Maybe because, I don't get as much inspirations as I used to.

Can only shine brighter,

In the real midnight darkness,

As distant, gentle, intense stars,

Sparkling vividly,

At the hours of shade.

Not in the feeble twilight,

Halfway between light and darkness,

Can we ablaze.

How welcome and how spiritually uplifting are those gems of light when all else is dark. Beautifully penned dear poet.

Very poetic imagery here with a nice tinge of rhyme mixed it. Lovely

This is one of my favorite subjects to write about, the stars. You've written a beautiful poem full of warmth.
