how do I express my love for you,
when you're far from my current view?
how do I say the words I need to,
when my days are without you?
how can I rewind time back to you,
when we held each other so true?
how can I define my inner view,
when we can't even sit to review?
how do I move past what is true,
when my heart still aches for you?
how do I forget those eyes so blue,
when I sleep I only dream of you?

There is a deep sense of loss in this poem with a strong desire for reunification. All this set in rhyme
