- Comment from author about the poem: This poem expresses sentiments of self discovery and self liberation. As a result of separating my true self from an identity imposed by someone else, I no longer have the mental or emotional space for thoughts of past relationship. I have truly let go.

This poem is about self liberation and the idea of letting go. The point of it is to say there is no more emotional or mental space in me for thoughts about past relationships.
