Maplespal

Sacre Coeur de Montmartre for sure

that was such a beautiful day

up 222 steps my love I carried her

a view of Paris like no other way

then there was the other 222 to do

that motion when we ended the day

down the stairs of Paul albert's rue

it was such a beautiful day

  • Comment from author about the poem: we had the blandest meal at a private restaurant that day. No spices at all not even salt or pepper. it was back when i was in shape and could carry 112lbs on my back. memory 1, of Paris trip

We had our honeymoon in Paris, I carried the bags.

The good men carry the weight and allow the women to enjoy the trip.

It sounds like you made it to the heights of love, those 222 steps always to be remembered. Such a lovely write!
