Solemnly walks
The frightening face
Of reality
In cold dark day.

An invisible figure
Trapped in thought
A bubble around
The beating heart.

Shortened steps
Heavier falls
Ignoring calls
Of those unable to help.

To stare grimly
At the granite wall
