Dark void

Natalie Heisey

In the quiet shadows, I silently tread, With thoughts and emotions, heavy as lead. A heart full of whispers, a mind full of thoughts. It never gets easier the pain never stops.

I stopped sharing my sorrow, my deep, dark void. Fearing the burden the weight to avoid my Friends and family, I don't want to strain, With the echoes of heartache, the whispers of  pain.

All of my struggles, they add to the load,On this winding and scary untraveled road. But in the silence, I Keep moving ahead With a bit of hope, deep in my souls darkest stead

For in this journey  there's strength yet to find A voice that is gentle, but never confined. I'll reach out for help, in ways that I can, To lift me up and help guide me to solid land.

To those who might listen, to those who might care, I'll share my journey, my heart is laid bare. For in every struggle, there's courage to see And in every heartache, a path to feel free. In the current quiet shadows, I silently tread,
With thoughts and emotions, heavy like lead.
But from the darkness, I'll rise and transcend, Leaving behind the void  till my soul mends

This poem deserves more reads. Well rhymed and thoughtfully written and recognized it has a message that should be heard. Nicely done
