Proverbs Chapter 20 parts

********

Counsel in the heart of man

Is like deep water, who can

Draw it out? it be they who

Understand, find it out do

Most people they will proclaim

Every one their own good name

But faithful one who can find?

Be they of a rarer kind?

There is gold, many rubies

What can compare unto these?

The lips of knowledge they be

A precious jewel used wisely

Say not you, I will repay

Evil, do my will my way

But wait on the Lord and He

Shall deal with it, save you, see

The spirit of a man is

Candle of the Lord, true this

A lamp searching inward parts

Knowing thoughts of minds and hearts

I especially liked the third stanza, we certainly could use a lot more knowledge on a lot more lips. Good write Orchi!

Thanks Bella. Meanwhile - Ohhh, what does KP know? She\'s only after the gold and rubies! She would be. I got none for her. lol. She\'s an odd one.
I\'ll give her knowledge. I\'ll spout a lot of hot air from my lips. heehee.

          • orchidee

Aww, she says to me - nothing new here then; all you ever spout is hot air! lol.

Lovely words and a good reminder to leave your cares and vengeance with the Lord.

See all those diagonal lines throughout your reply at14:45, orchi? That's the Prodigal Son trying (in vain) to get a word in........

If I hadn't got the dictionary out, I would never have known what prodigal meant! lol.
