The funny weed
where others fail it does succeed
lifting spirits that fly into the sky
giving such a wonderful high
Condemned by many it makes me yawn
I smile seeing it flourish in my neighbor's lawn

Lawn? Neighbours?....who are they? Cool, Man, I'll do them a service come .....soon.....put the alarm...on, ah... Martha, I'm goin to do some midnight gardenin.....
Thanks Dave but the weed in that lawn you don't want to smoke.
Lawn did seem a little exposed.... What's the score here, Soren?
Now I feel like eating my hat ..
Straw, felt, or cloth? Munchies are one thing but dandelion soup is a bit hard core. Thanks for the read Neville
Good write SB.
Thanks Orchie it is appreciated.
Considering that the neighbors yards around me are manicured and well watered, mine is a haven for clover, crab grass and any other weeds that choose to land there. I am an equal opportunity landscaper, and the naturel look suites me. I also hate lawn care, so at best I cut and let be what will be. Did I mention the moles? Great write my friend.
Thanks so much Bella I appreciate so much your review and am awaiting your next poem
LoL not a smell I love, but hey if I was going to share one with anyone may it be you! 🤣 Ps I've got friends who would dearly love your neighbour. 🌹
Thanks Teddy for the review and comment it is cherished.
Cheech and Chong would love this. Great work.
Yes I think they would since they were not too particular about what they smoked. Thanks Thomas
And legal, finally.
Yes in some places and under certain conditions. A pity that when alcohol is legal it is more restricted. Thanks for the read
I don’t know where you are but if you ever want to light one up, message me.
