One Lost Dream

mtrotter1

I lost a dream, a dream that is me

How will I ever salvage this dream?

Constant nightmares bestow upon the greatest lovers

I see colors that I've never seen before

What the hell am I supposed to do now

Before the skies close in

And the stars stop gleaming?

For I lost a dream, a dream that is unfulfilled

Where will I go to now?

I want to feel the moon cry

Upon my lost dream

For life is as deep as it is

And I pray and I pray

For something to come my way

Behold the anticipation that seems.
