Never laugh in your face

anabasova

In this story
This place of glory
I stand tall next to people
Who don't have to say sorry
They don't have to shake my hand
Or do anything to become a 'friend'
I'm there for the mistakes
I'm there to give grace
Never cast you aside
Never laugh in your face.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I think that people don't give each other enough chances and space to be human and be imperfect. If we had a higher tolerance with one another we would have a much easier time in relationships.
