When The Music Stops Playing...

mtrotter1

I promise I won't lie to you anymore

Release your heart and let me back in

For tomorrow is the day of the unknown

And parting is just an old sweet song

There is no more graffiti on the walls

There is no more drinking miraculous poison

For these streets are no longer a part of me;

And now I shall relax my mind

Do you behold the windows on the ceiling?

Nostalgic moments have me thinking,

What would I be without you?

For without you,

There is not a cloud in the sky

Floating around and making the days sweet

And I find the hardest days

To be the most lonesome

And I find the music

To be the most lonesome too

Behold what is right in front of me

A piano with many keys,

But I don't know how to play the piano

Therefore I am bound

Please dance with me in my misery

For I am sober now

Between the sheets

We can make memories

Hearts shall burst like raging flames...

But now I see what I did wrong

I lied to you about myself,

For I am not what you want me to be

But without you there is no love

For I am a prophet, and that's all you see

Can you play the piano with many keys?

Can you free me from my misery?

Can you drink with me the miraculous poison

That is no more?

For when the music stops playing

The earth shall stop spinning;

That's how I feel when I'm alone.
