The line

Alan R

And Oh ! to cross the line

Between seeking wisdom

And a loopy rant

We try and we just can’t

Avoid tripping over

Fences, on these people’s land

As we run our errands

While reaching out for a truth

Possibilities, of a helping hand

Relying on the friends, loving the neighbours

A tall weed, peeps out of their trimmed greens

A visible effort, nevertheless, forever unseen.

To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted.

having supped upon these words and my own subsequent reflections,
I sense where you might now be coming from .. sometimes, I fear it is best to keep one's head held low .. at least under the parapet .. kindest regards, Neville
