Dreams sometimes

Amara Carys

I dream of happiness,

a future filled with peace and love

with unconditional love and family,

people with whom I can be unapologetically free

I dream of fulfillment,

a life in which I can finally accept myself,

love and cherish me for who I am,

and finally put all my regrets to rest

I dream of pleasure,

in the arms of a lover,

someone who loves keeping me close,

someone who knows when it's time to let go

I dream of a pain-free fantasy,

no more horror filled screams,

no more of me getting hurt in my dreams,

that were filled with violations and cruelty

I dream,

A little dream,

a fantasy of unimaginable glee,

finally free,

From Me
