I've always thought
That everything happens for a reason
People say that all the time
But I disagree
I was 10.
Tell me the reason for that.

So that you would no longer be nine and so you could become eleven. This one gave me a smile. Thank you
Well that's certainly one interpretation!
damn, changes your whole perspective on life
haha yeah sure does 🥲🥲 thanks for reading!
No one should have to go through that. It’s unfortunate, wishing you the best.
Thank you, means a lot I appreciate you reading my poems
Ok - let's be clear. I'm not a stalker. Just after our recent exchanges I felt I'd like to suss you out a little. Not finished yet, you've got rather a large back catalogue...
The phrase 'everything happens for a reason' is trite and means nothing, yet I've heard it many times myself. 'Everything happens at random (wrong place, wrong time) has more meaning, but still got a way to go.
What happened when you were ten, I don't want to go there, but am deeply sad and sorry.
