Beautiful Thing, Be My Companion, and With You

Maplespal

I could not decide what poem to post so you get 3 for 1

Enjoy

(1st poem)

Beautiful Thing

those curves, those lines, so, so smooth,

the way you walk, you turn, you move

flowing so free, so soft, that beautiful hair

a perfect reflection, inner inspection, that stare

those hips, that ass, those perfect nips

I shiver, I quiver, my mouth openly drips

the way you spin, the view you bring

oh my God you are a beautiful, beautiful thing

you are the sexiest woman I have ever viewed

even your shadow compliments you nude

but I must say you are not my ideal choice

when you speak, you have an annoying voice

(2nd poem)

Be My Companion

will you be my companion, a dedicated friend

travel with me through time, until its end

help me through my troubles, help me understand

teach me of what you know, let my knowledge expand

will you follow me through life, show me my mistakes

slow me down when I go to fast, apply the metaphorical brakes

explain the unknown words, the ones I can't pronounce

show me how to cook, and teach me what's an ounce

will you stay with me, when my end comes to pass

laugh at my jokes and except that I'm an ass

free me from my awful thoughts, hold my hand so tight

will you comfort and tuck me in, on those scary nights

will you be my companion, a dedicated friend

I will befriend you back, until one of our lives ends

help you through your pain, comfort you with my heart

make me a desired one, until life rips us apart

(3rd poem)

With You

meet me by the hollow tree, the one we couldn't find

let me tell you how I've been, I'll let you in my mind

take me to the fallen bridge, the one we once passed bye

I'll tell you of what I've done, I'll explain to you the why

let us gather where we had that view, the one so sublime

we can talk of you and I, perhaps until the end of time

show me where we've never been, and take me for a ride

tell me you miss my love, and I'll pretend I never cried

drive me to that spot you loved, that beautiful ocean view

I'll tell you of my travels, and how I never forgot you

explain the reasons we went our ways, let the secrets be known

help me understand how apart we eventually have grown

meet me by the broken tree, the one found within my heart

let me tell you how I've been, with us separated, apart

take me to your secret spot, the one where you remain

let me know in your way, we will never be together again

    Shame about the voice!

Yes but is better than the ones that are good from a far but far from good.

In a couple of your poems now you have taken this method of incorporating three poems into one. I like this and it seems to work well for you. It gives a greater meaning to the piece and a broader spectrum overall. Very nicely done.
