A House With No Walls

mtrotter1

I am a gem of a lover

Based on a private novel;

For I have torn apart these many walls

And replaced my heart with gold

There is a recompense for this

A sudden scenery

That will break the bard,

Oh is it hard

To break the silence of the lambs,

When the lambs

Aren't so silent?

I utter my tears in retrospect

Because the past has left me behind

I cannot close these front doors

I am riveting to my defense

Oh scare me with your broken shoe!

I dare you, I dare you, I dare you

Broken bards never have their way

Is it simply fair to be honest?

For I am witnessing a miracle right here

The burning walls are private

And private is my privacy

What more can I add to the cause?

Oh the silence of the lambs...

I have no regrets

For they are so soft in my tears

Will this private novel

Be my private lover, again?

For there is a house with no walls

And the bard has exploded again!

And the roof has been roaring again!

Is silence the only death that exists?

As the lambs run away into pasture

So does the world...

I begin to breathe in the flames.
