Chester

PreciousGurl

There was a man standing outside of Walmart . he had a puppy  who he said he had to sell to pay his bills .

The man didn't seem to care about the dog . The puppy was weak and frail . You could almost see his ribs.

My husband named him Chester , even though he was not ours . The man said he wanted $150.00 for this

poor , thin , half starving dog who needed so much love . This went on for two days . Today will probabaly

be the third . My heart breaks  for the home we cannot give him . Our little Chester . Who longs to be cuddled ,

played with and hugged . For all of the love we feel inside of us that longs to be released . Maybe today he will

be sold to a good and loving home . And I can finally say goodbye to the dog we so desperately want but cannot

have . Alas, the man stopped coming , and we never saw Chester again .

Sad and inspiring empathy for the puppy. Nicely written
