I grew up knowing nothing,
always unsure of everything,
but love? Love, I know so well,
all too well, that I fell.
It’s like poetry I can describe in a million ways,
but for you, I have the perfect phrase.
You're the melody that lingers in my soul,
the rhythm that completes and makes me whole.
What I know is that you are love,
a sanctuary, gentle and pure,
a beautiful mess, yet with you, I'm secure.
In emptiness, I'd still choose you above.
You came and suddenly I knew,
amidst uncertainty, love shines through.
In your eyes, I find my truth,
in your embrace, my doubts are soothed.
