An Arguments End, Together, and Stay Within Me
(Why not?)
(Another 3 poems)
(Enjoy)
(1st poem)
An Arguments End
watch as I walk away and ignore your pleads
listen as I neglect to say why my heart bleeds
silence is the thing you fear, yet silence is wealth
those words you need to hear, I’m keeping to myself
decide for me what you believe true, and I’ll except your lies
describe for me the importance of you, as my inner self cries
reality often gets in our way, our jaded opinions are strong
I grasp the words you try to say, neither admitting we’re wrong
sit with me and hold me tight, let the tensions subside
stay with me as day turns night, in our embrace let’s confide
I will protect you from your fear, of silence tearing us apart
it’s our tune I want to hear, the rhematic beating of our hearts
(2nd poem)
Together
I like to be alone with thought we two are kind of the same
the dilution of others, it interferes with our twisted game
feelings try to force their ideals, with a jaded view
the conversations we have, the words all but true
I like to be alone with me, for I am of a friendly kind
we enjoy the questions, the answers within my mind
reality judges, manipulates how we both react so clear
the joy I find in myself, Elligent, brilliant, no fear.
I like to be within my mind, hidden from others site
we comfort and protect each other, each lonely night
the ignorance of our diluted views often turns rotten
future endeavors imagined, then all but forgotten
I like the part of myself, I keep so safe and strong
we together alone, conversations last so long
past confusions we disregard, they all but remain
I myself with my thought, together we're insane
(3rd poem)
Stay Within Me
silent voices within my damaged head
your calming whispers let me know I'm not dead
delightful memories, your interesting thoughts
you confuse my existence as my sanity rots
strangers within me, let's stop and chat
secluded notions, you know where they're at
peruse their pages, add not a note
let me remember the words I wrote
silent voices, tell me your names
tell me the rules of your twisted games
explain the rewards, tell me they're true
if they make sense, I will obey you
strangers within me, you come to late
I've given my thoughts to my own fate
your acceptance, you've been so kind
stay within me, in my faltered mind

- Comment from author about the poem: Sorry, I was inspired by a painting of a dog and a painting of a cat. 3 poems came out of me last night so why not share them. And yes I know, they have nothing to do with a cat or a dog. Our minds work in mysteries ways. Hope you enjoyed reading them, if not sorry.
