Jim and Charity’s Wedding 2

         As Jim and Charity say their I do’s, Holden looks over at Harlow and whispers; “I love you.” Charity recites her vows that she wrote herself. Jim wrote his own for her as well; took his heart off the shelf! “You’re everything a man can hope for.” “You’re everything I need;” “you stood by my side when it would’ve been easier to leave.” “I can’t imagine any more of my life without you.” “From this day forward; you bet I do.” Charity trying to hold back her tears; “I want to spend many days like this with you Jim for many many years.” “Before you came along, my life was at a stand still; you’ve brought a sense of peace and safety with you that I treasure now and always will. They say their I do’s and exchange their rings; finally husband and wife; Jim leans in for the kiss. Holden finally takes Harlow’s hand; “that dress is beautiful on you Harlow; “and you Holden are one handsome looking man! The guests head to the reception but these two stay behind for a while. “Charity and Jim are very happy!” Holden says with a smile. Harlow looks over to Holden to reveal what she knows. “You sent Jim to look out for me?” She asks; Holden almost says no. “Not for reasons you that you think Harlow.””I’m not a creep.” “I only wanted Jim to look out for your safety.” Harlow felt violated and angry just the same. But she knows Jim and she’s in love with Holden. So what’s changed? He’s not a bad man and can see how much he cares. She decides to let it go; “I understand.” Holden apologizes and Harlow forgives him. “Why don’t we head to the reception?” Just in time! Charity’s tossing the bouquet.
