DISTANCE
Measured in spans,
In steps,
In miles, kilometers, in...
In hundredths, thousandths,
And at the speed of light.
All of these
Tell us nothing,
Measure no true distance.
Distance has only one
True unit of measure.
It is the distance to my homeland.
