A book ahead of it's time,
Have you committed a thought crime?
1984 perpetrates endless war,
Hmm, where have we seen this before?
Sneaking off to meet a secret lover,
Out from the watchful eye of Big Brother.
Become a robot for Ingsoc,
Mind moulded and completely on lock.
Hiding in the corner and writing with a pen,
Winston resents, then loves again.
