Tangled Up In You

Cocamedo

The tangles in your morning hair.
Your freckles and the way you stare

It all amounts to something new
My mornings tangled up with you

     Stumble to the bathroom sink
Water on, to brush your teeth

So perfect with your perfect smile
You laugh and giggle like a child

I’m still tangled in the sheets
Staring at your dainty feet

To the closet, to the drawers
Praying I’m forever yours

     Spray yourself with heaven’s scent
Please don’t let the day commence

You smile at me, it’s time to go
Crush my soul, and let it show

Not because i want it to
My heart is tangled up in you
