In the Valley of Ignorance on a wedding night, I wandered lost.
My guide and bride took me in hand and guided my passion.
She knew exactly what path to follow.
Earlier, before we wed, she said, "I lost my barrier long ago."
Doesn't matter. We are united.
I remember her screaming, "it's coming, it's coming."
She said, "You're the only one I made love to." I knew what she meant. The past doesn't matter.

- Comment from author about the poem: She did know what to do. She loved me deeply and always fiercely defended me our entire married life. She once said, "I married him because he was younger than me. I always joked that it was so I could train him."

Is it the body or the person we love? Old histories should be left in the past. Nice write.
I agree. The past is past.
For anyone who doubts themselves, this is magnificent message, it doesn't matter of your past only of your future, sir I'm delighted to read your beautiful poetry. š¹
