Ambrosia for Us

Thoughtless

Long nights, punctuated by the stars.
Empty fields out the bedroom window stretch into the curve.
The stars, a comfort, as her memories fill me.
Rest in peace "my girl."
Eventually the sun rises and will shine again.
Ambrosia for us.

        Beautiful and (possibly?) metaphoric.

          True and metaphoric. Thank you.

Almost made me cry, your deep sorrow, I felt every bit with a beautiful thought at the end. 🌹

            Short and sweet, nicely done.
