“Good Morning Heartache. Sit Down”

HolesInMyJeans

If there needs to be a universal balance of pain and joy, let me hurt. It’s okay. It’s become my norm. I handle it like a champ. It’s become way too familiar for me to let go of it now. I take it on proud. I’m not afraid to feel it. As a matter of fact, we’ve become friends. We’re thick as thieves. We know each other well. I don’t mind it. I’m not surprised when it shows up. Or disappointed. Nor do I try to push it away. I accept it. And sometimes I welcome it. All so you don’t have to.

A noble sacrifice. Well worded in the build up and finished well in one sentence. Very nice.
