Leaf on a tree
lightly laughs in green
on a beautiful brown branch
next to other light leaves
she sits , her own way
the same yet different
to all those lovely little leaves
she stays
held by the beautiful brown branch
stays in a loving home
that never tells her little leaf ways
to please just leave
accepted , cared for
and yet she wishes to
almost fly like a kite or a bird
always with the possible choice
and chance to return home
