What Makes us Superior?
what is spoken comes from what our memories have heard and seen
experiences of life reflecting on where we have and have not been
everything reviewed for an understanding of the subjects at hand
through our own reflections our opinions they grow to expand
what is remembered from what was experienced before
provides insight into the situations we need to explore
nothing to be reviewed and nothing intellectual to say
without our view to guide us along our informed way
what is seen and what is known even if blind
view is the most important part of our mind
without view to explain a locations site
there’d be no words to explain it right
what is view without our eyes and mind
this notion we would spend a lifetime to find
it's what makes us superior, it’s true
not the point of it, but our view

- Comment from author about the poem: Simply put, we as a species are able to formulate a view, that is why we are superior. We are superior because it’s the view we have of ourselves as a species. Even though we are not superior, we are simply superior to lesser species. And we only think they are lesser because that is “our view” of them.

Not sure what you are saying with this. Superior? Mankind has made a right fuck up of it then. .
Yes we have messed it up really bad
but still we are aloud to have an ego
'aloud to have an ego'? Wot mean this?
Having a view enables one to view themselves as better, therefor we give ourselves an ego and then selfishly display it. perhaps not aloud, but rather we think we are able to have it. and subsequently end up displaying it for others to see.
In all probability right. Humanity seems to me to be founded on stupidity and ignorance, when the facts are known and many could acquaint themselves with them if they wanted to.
Indeed point of view does determine what we call superior. It is all in a point of view. Nicely written
