Ghost

It’s time to go ghost and just focus on you,

And even though you’re tired, you know what it is that you have to do.

It’s time to focus on the future, and to finally let go of the past,

Because the pain you are experiencing now has not come to stay, but it has come to pass.

And the only way you can move on is to finally let it all go,

Because any kind of progress is progress, even if you are going slow. 

All that matters is that you decide to move on and never look back,

And focus on the skills that you have, instead of the ones that you think you lack.

For so now long, you have tried this so many times,

And even though it breaks you every time you fail, you always put on a smile and pretend that 

you are fine. 

Despite it all, you try your best to pretend that you are okay,

But deep down, you are struggling a little more every single day.

You know you have it in you to keep going,

And you know that that is the only way that you can keep growing.

By forcing yourself to continue when life gets hard,

And by not giving in when you are down to the last yard.

And despite everything you have been through, you just keep going with a smile,

Because when you feel like quitting, you may only have to give it one more mile.

But if you give up now, then you will never know how far you can go,

And if you do not try, then you will never know.

You will never know what would have happened it you gave it just one more shot,

And one day you will look back at all of the lessons that you were taught.

You will be grateful for everything that you have experienced along the way,

And nothing else will matter, not what others did, or the words that they chose to say.

Because you know them trying to bring you down was just a reflection of who they are,

And even though you don’t understand it now, one day, you will be grateful for every single 

bruise and scar.9999

At the end of the day, they are the things that make you you,

And they are not a reminder of trauma, but a reminder of everything that you overcame and went 

through.
