Being
Rooted deeply into the earth
Standing tall and mighty
Sitting, unmoved by surroundings
Bending with the winds of change
Providing
Shelter through harsh winters
Shade through bright sunny days
Essential oils to heal and restore
Fire for humanity
Branches, like arms to support and uplift those needing rest
Oxygen
Breath for all living creatures
Fruit so sweet, helpful and refreshing
Adapting to the seasons
Paper and pencil for the poet
Inspiration for those in their presence
