My Last Wish

Vansh Lohia

When I'm on the death bed,

And the death waits,

When I count my last moments ,

There shall not be any rain.

If there be rain,

The rain should come from the clouds ,And not from the heart .

The last rituals should be performed,

By my sister and not from anyone else,

And I ask for your forgiveness,

 For everything I have done.

Before becoming the stars,

Tell me I mattered,

Tell me I made you happy ,

Tell me I'm not a joke to you,

Tell me...(Choke),

I couldn't live on the planet.

As the planet is getting colder,

I love to be in the stars where the moon awaits me,

Amends my life,

I'm happily headed to death,

With no regrets in life.

I talked and met scanty people in life,

And I'm not that funny.

But death is the single best invention,

And no one escaped it.

When I'm devoid of beats,

When my eyes are closed,

And never to be opened again ,

Live your life as you wish,

And forget me as a stranger ,

As if I didn't matter.

Death is the beginning of a new journey,

A happily ever after.

Questioning one's value in a relationship is a continual venture. Here it seems the speaker is okay with moving on. Nicely written
