Every moment with or without you feels like forever. Like each seed of a dandelion, fleeting moments coalesce with the afterglow of a beautiful memory, recently made to float away in a galaxy of its own. The chain of memories is unending; I marvel at its perseverance, for an old memory gives birth to a new one.
Harbouring a fear of endings, you became my beginning. A chandelier of starry-eyed expectations could have been shattered with a strong gust of wind. But you fascinated me with the grandeur of a once-in-a-lifetime romance.
Golden hours, the time that I spend basking in sunshine. The silver lining never leaves me stranded. Time is relative, and I view it in terms of eternity. A stark, clear reverie sets itself apart from an otherwise deluding mirage. The voyage to find the eternal seldom left me unscathed, although now, my scars are being loved evermore. My last chance of venturing into a timeless Arcadia made every moment feel like the first I ever had. Serendipity.

- Comment from author about the poem: I’m a forever kind of girl. Just like everyone else, I never want beautiful moments to end. Meaning of the prose poem ♥️♾ If you have a special someone, even a moment without them feels like a lifetime. The same happens when you’re with them. Memories are an endless string of forevers. There’s no need to be scared of endings once someone becomes the reason for the beginning of your journey. All these cliches and expectations put on lovers could easily break any relationship. When you find the right person, it’s all irrelevant. You two are the only ones that matter in your own little world. Along with precious moments spent in happiness with the one you love, there’s a silver lining at every turn you take. Each second is eternal. Before your eyes, you see a crystal clear image of future. You’ve always tried to find “the one” but got hurt instead every time. Those same scars of bad memories will soon be loved dearly. Your last love makes you experience your firsts all over again. I feel like last loves are far more memorable than first loves. If you’re lucky enough, you find both in the same person 🥰💗 If you relate to my prose poem, share it with your friends and loved ones
