I remember,
The sugarcane field,
Dancing joyfully.
Then,
I see the sky,
It’s
Numb,
Foretelling rain,
Furious rain.
It
Came down,
Cold,
Dark drops.
Thunders crash,
Reverberates,
Earth trembles,
The sky falls.
The cabin,
By the river,
Feels helpless,
Violently shakes.
But then,
Calm
Came.
The sun
Breaks through,
With
Golden lances,
The birds
Emerge
And sing.

A vivid description of a storm nicely done.
