Abomination And Desolation

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Our physical reality was preconfigured,
Stop reading now if you are easily triggered.
I can sense hard times ahead,
No winter fuel allowance for pensioners?
They just want people dead.
Protesters get faster and harsher sentences,
What about the peedos, rapists and murders?
Both sides of the fence are feeling nervous.
The so-called fair and righteous justice system,
Corruption at the top, an abomination.
Rich get richer and poor get poorer,
Desolation coming, run and get your camcorder.

Disaster around the corner. Indeed it always has been in one way or another and the present is another. I hear the plea in this poem that is well written and evokes feelings of despair. Well written.

Well you have your finger on the pulse, now. Just let's hope it doesn't get too burnt (that goes for mine too...)
