Drown

mtrotter1

Do you think I'm ugly?

Or do you think I'm too intelligent

To get under your skin?

For beauty and brains are intelligent

I'd rather wear a mask than not

For you bereave me to fall

Into my own trap

For eyes define the beauty of death

Behold the wish-less bones in the sky

Euphoric like the other tease

Drown! I want you to drown in my soul

And reach for me

When you get lightheaded

For tomorrow is just another day in the neighborhood

Wild houses tumble

At our beck and call

So why not be brilliant

On the face of the earth

And fall out of love with each other?

Dead is the whisper in your ear

For triumph and tribulation

Is something that you scold,

Do I dare to be bold in front of you?

Behold the wayward wars

That you have created

There's no sense in rushing into things now

I find you rewarding

But you don't know the half

Of everything that is going down...

Let us use food for fuel

And satisfy our cravings

Dare to lust on my behalf?

As our bodies clench to such suspense

What would it be like to actually drown?
